Built to European Standards
Every part Sinopar supplies is sourced from factories operating within the same certification frameworks required for EU market entry. We document compliance at every step.
Regulations We Work Within
Chinese NEV spare parts entering the EU must comply with a layered set of vehicle safety, electromagnetic compatibility, and environmental regulations. Sinopar's sourcing process is structured around these requirements.
Brake Lining Assemblies
Replacement brake pads and linings for passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles.
All brake components supplied by Sinopar are sourced from ECE R90-certified manufacturers.
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
Electronic components and assemblies — ECUs, sensors, motor controllers, OBC units.
EMC compliance documentation available on request for electronic assemblies.
Lithium Battery Transport
High-voltage battery packs, BMS units, and battery modules.
UN 38.3 test reports provided with all battery-related shipments.
Vehicle Type Approval
Replacement parts used in type-approved vehicles must not invalidate the vehicle's approval.
Sinopar supplies OEM-spec parts that maintain original vehicle type approval.
Hazardous Substances
Restriction of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
REACH and RoHS compliance declarations available for all electronic components.
Battery Regulation
New EU Battery Regulation covering carbon footprint, due diligence, and end-of-life requirements.
Sinopar is tracking implementation timelines and will provide documentation as requirements phase in.
What E-mark Means for Your Business
The E-mark (or e-mark) is the mandatory type-approval mark for automotive components sold in the EU and EEA. It confirms that a component has been tested and approved by a national authority to the relevant ECE Regulation. For importers and distributors, E-marked parts reduce liability exposure and simplify customs clearance.

How We Qualify Suppliers
Factory Audit
On-site audit of manufacturing facilities against ISO/TS 16949 (IATF 16949) quality management requirements. We assess process control, traceability, and corrective action systems.
Sample Inspection
Pre-shipment sample inspection for dimensional accuracy, material specification, and fitment verification against OEM reference parts.
Documentation Review
Review of all relevant certifications: ISO/TS 16949, E-mark, ECE R90, UN 38.3, REACH/RoHS declarations, and factory test reports.
Ongoing Monitoring
Periodic re-audit and batch-level inspection for high-volume or safety-critical part categories. Non-conformances trigger immediate supplier review.
Factory Certification Requirements
IATF 16949
International Automotive Task Force quality management standard. Required for all Tier-1 and Tier-2 automotive suppliers in our network.
ISO 9001:2015
General quality management system certification. Baseline requirement for all Sinopar-approved factories.
E-mark / ECE
UN Economic Commission for Europe type-approval marks. Required for safety-critical components entering EU/EEA markets.
ISO 14001
Environmental management system certification. Preferred for factories supplying battery and electronic components.
Our Quality Commitment
Sinopar provides a 12-month warranty on all supplied parts against manufacturing defects, subject to correct installation and normal operating conditions. Warranty claims are handled directly with the supplying factory under our supplier agreement framework.
